According to the Global 500 2025 brand report by Brand Finance, Toyota overtakes Mercedes-Benz and Tesla to become the strongest automotive brand globally with an overall ranking of 18. The German automaker slips to 23 from 17 previously, while the Tesla drops to 36 from 18. Hyundai jumps from 49 to 29. BMW remains at 37. Honda, Ford and Tata showed positive growth in the brand rankings while Porsche and Volkswagen showed a negative growth towards their brand rankings. Apple remains as the world’s most valuable brand in 2025.
